There's no limit on revisions. Changes are billed at $50 an hour, the same rate as the edit, so there's no revision count to keep track of and no surprise fee for round three.
That works both ways. A note like "swap these two shots" takes a few minutes and costs a few minutes. A note like "let's try a whole different story" is new editing, and it's billed like new editing. If a round of notes looks like it's going to take more than a little time, I'll tell you the estimate before I start on it.
What usually keeps the number of rounds down:
- A short note with the footage (see what to send with the footage)
- One person sending notes for the whole team
- Everyone who has a say watching the first cut, not the third
Notes come in through the Frame.io review link or by email, see how the review link and notes work. If you're on round six, it usually means someone new just saw it.
