Every version I send comes as a private Frame.io review link. Nobody else can find it. You watch it in the browser.
Two ways to give notes:
- On the timeline. Pause where something needs to change and type the note. It's pinned to that exact moment, so there's no guessing which shot you meant.
- As a list. If that's easier, send an email. Timecodes help ("at 1:12, trim the pause"), but "the part where she laughs" works too.
What makes notes easy to act on:
- One person sends the notes. If four people watch, collect their thoughts and send one list. When two notes disagree, I'll ask which one wins, and the round waits on the answer.
- Say what's working. If you love the opening, tell me. It tells me what to keep.
- Be specific where you can. "Too long" is fine. "Cut it after the line about her sister" is faster.
When I've made the changes, you get a new link for the next version. We repeat until it's right. There's no limit on revisions, and changes are billed at $50 an hour. More in revisions and changes.
